LUKE MOSSEY – BIOGRAPHY
Luke Mossey began his interest in racing at the age of 6 and has not stopped winning races and titles since. He can claim 11 championship wins including the British Minibike Championship, which he won every year between 1999 and 2003. Luke then moved up to 125cc bikes and successfully competed in, and won, both British and European titles in 2006 and 2007.
2009 saw Luke progress up the racing ladder to the British Superstock 600 series. He had an outstanding debut year, which saw him turn professional in 2010 and enter the British Supersport Series. He competed in Supersport until the end of the 2014 season. During his time in this series Luke achieved many podiums and career highs.
In 2015 at the age of 22, Luke was racing his first season in the British Superbikes where he made a name for himself instantly as a determined, professional rider. This lead him to a 7th place finish in his first season and won the Riders Cup trophy.
In 2016, Luke was riding for Quattro Plant Kawasaki and he had an impressive season with 4 podium finishes and 4 pole positions – including a career best of second place finish at Oulton Park. Luke made it into the Championship Showdown for the first time and finshed in 6th place overall.
In April 2017, Luke Mossey secured his first British Superbikes win at the Brands Hatch Indy round. He then went on to win the second race of the weekend to do the ‘double’ at the Kent circuit.
Luke Mossey is an ambassador for the Cool Fab Racing Minibike Championship where he encourages and works with the racers of the future. Luke also is an ambassador for Mission Motorsport; a charity which aims to help in the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations through motorsport.
